We all have become very diet-conscious these days. Suddenly multi-grain bread, whole wheat muffins, fat-free mayonnaise and similar other food items have found a place in our kitchen. But are they really what you are looking for?

Whenever you are buying any such product that claims to be ‘whole wheat’ check the label for finding out exactly how much wheat is contained in the bread. Wheat flour should be present in the maximum quantity in the bread to make it actually ‘whole wheat’.

Similarly make yourself aware of the broad terms like ‘lite’ and ‘fat-free’ if you really are on a diet.
