Paris is the fashion capital of the world. The sales are held twice a year, once in summer and once in winter, just after Christmas. These sales are regulated by the state in France.

Departmental stores, boutiques, designer outlets and even hardware stores offer all the items at discounted prices in the sale. They basically have to clear the previous season’s stock. You will find low prices of clothes and other items being lowered even further as the sale period nears completion.

This biannual sale spans a period of six weeks and is scheduled twice at the end of June and as January begins.
